Marketing Associate (6-Month Contract) Location: Livingston, NJ (Hybrid) Term: 6-Month Contract Start Date: ASAP About A.Y. Strauss A.Y. Strauss is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Associate for a 6-month temporary contract to cover an employee going on leave. The role is available for an immediate start and is expected to run through the spring. There is potential for the position to transition into a permanent role based on mutual fit and firm needs. The Marketing Associate will work closely with the firm’s Managing Partner and external Marketing Consultant on strategic initiatives while focusing on day-to-day marketing execution to ensure that campaigns, projects, and internal initiatives continue seamlessly during this period. Key Responsibilities • Develop, edit, and publish content for the firm’s website and social media channels while maintaining a consistent brand voice and professional tone. • Create and manage email marketing campaigns via Constant Contact. • Assist in developing marketing collateral such as brochures, one-pagers, advertisements, and event materials. • Manage relationships with the firm’s marketing vendors, ensuring timely updates, performance reporting, and alignment with overall strategy. • Support planning and execution of firm events, including client receptions, networking events, team outings, and internal celebrations. • Coordinate onboarding-related marketing deliverables for new employees. • Manage attorney award submissions from data collection through final submission. • Collaborate with attorneys on content creation, client communications, and practice updates. • Coordinate logistics for the firm’s podcast, The Dealmaker’s Edge, including scheduling guests, liaising with vendors, and promotional content. • Track and organize marketing invoices, vendor payments, and budget updates. • Maintain marketing trackers and internal reports. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. • 2+ years of marketing experience, preferably within a professional services or law firm environment. • Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Constant Contact, WordPress, LinkedIn, and Canva (or similar design tools). • Strong time-management skills and ability to meet multiple deadlines in a collaborative environment. • Proactive problem-solver with a positive attitude. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
