Role Overview: As a Network Engineer L3, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex data center and enterprise network environments. This role requires a deep technical expertise and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve advanced network issues to ensure high availability and performance. What You'll Do: - You will design and deploy scalable network solutions for data centers and enterprise environments. - You will monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues to maintain optimal uptime. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network infrastructure with other IT systems. - You will implement security protocols and best practices to safeguard network integrity. - You will document network configurations, changes, and procedures for operational consistency. - You will provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior network engineers. - You will participate in network capacity planning and performance tuning. - You will stay updated with the latest networking technologies and industry trends. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, preferably in enterprise or data center environments. - Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS. - Proficiency with network hardware including Cisco, Juniper, or similar vendors. - Experience with network security technologies like firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems. - Solid understanding of network monitoring tools and performance analysis. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent. - Experience with cloud networking platforms like AWS or Azure. - Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible or Python scripting. - Background in network virtualization and SDN technologies.
