This group develops and maintains mission-critical applications used by the business, combining software engineering, technical architecture, and close partnership with business users and analysts. The environment is well suited for a senior engineer who enjoys hands-on development, solving complex technical problems independently, and contributing to broader application design decisions. What's In Store For You Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099) Hybrid opportunity based in New York City. Work on mission-critical applications supporting capital markets and derivatives operations. Contribute to both internally developed platforms and integrations with external applications. Collaborate with experienced engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders on technically complex systems. How You Will Make An Impact Design, develop, enhance, and support software solutions used within a capital markets environment. Serve as a hands-on senior developer with a primary emphasis on C#/.NET development. Participate in technical design decisions involving application architecture, development environments, and implementation approaches. Build and maintain solutions involving data and message transfer, processing, and application integration. Partner directly with business users and analysts to translate requirements into reliable technical solutions. Share designs, technical approaches, and solutions with the broader development team while contributing to long-term technology direction. Troubleshoot complex application issues independently and deliver solutions for business-critical systems. Do you bring proven success in senior C#/.NET software engineering? 10+ years of relevant software engineering/development experience aligned with a senior-level environment. Strong hands-on programming expertise with C# and .NET; C++ experience is also relevant. Solid computer science fundamentals and strong problem-solving capabilities. Experience designing or implementing systems that transfer, process, or exchange data and messages between applications. Ability to contribute to software design and architecture while remaining actively involved in coding and implementation. Experience supporting sophisticated, business-critical applications. Fixed Income or broader Capital Markets experience is highly preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders. Independent, mature approach to troubleshooting and technical problem-solving. Bachelor's-level preparation in Computer Science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
