Description SUMMARY: Performs a variety of clerical/administrative support tasks. SUPERVISOR: Department Manager DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Collect and process data to update and maintain business records. Process various forms, documents, reports, memoranda, etc. using Microsoft Word and Excel. Organize and compile information into files, paper/electronic records, and reports in order to make them readily accessible. Scan paper data files to an electronic format and creates index of pertinent data. Review contract data for compliance and tracking purposes. Observe all rules of confidentiality as it relates to patient information (HIPAA) in dealing with internal and external stakeholders. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent Energetic and detail oriented Proficient in MS Word and Excel Good verbal and written communication skills Familiarity with HIPAA Understanding of financial, patient and other confidential business information LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: None COMPLIANCE: This position requires compliance with API's written standards, including its Compliance Program and Standards of Conduct and policies and procedures.
