Role Overview: As a Part Time Technical Data Center Operations Support team member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational integrity of our data center facilities. Under limited supervision, you will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, support technical troubleshooting, and assist with system monitoring to uphold service excellence. What You'll Do: - You will monitor data center systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime. - You will perform routine maintenance and operational tasks to support data center functionality. - You will assist in troubleshooting technical issues and escalate when necessary. - You will coordinate with on-call teams and provide support during scheduled shifts. - You will document operational procedures and incident reports accurately. - You will support local travel requirements to various sites as needed. - You will adhere to safety and compliance standards within the data center environment. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience in data center operations or technical support roles. - You have a solid understanding of data center infrastructure, including hardware, networking, and power systems. - You possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with limited supervision. - You have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. - You are flexible to work a rotating schedule of 2 to 3 days per week, including on-call availability. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with monitoring tools and data center management software. - Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, ITIL, or similar. - Previous experience supporting multiple local sites or travel readiness. - Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance standards in technical environments.
