Role Overview: As a Part Time Technical Data Center Operations Support team member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational integrity of our data center facilities. Under limited supervision, you will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, support technical tasks, and respond to on-call needs to keep systems running efficiently. What You'll Do: - You will monitor and maintain data center equipment to ensure optimal performance. - You will assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues as they arise. - You will perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on critical systems. - You will support deployment and installation of new hardware and software components. - You will respond promptly to on-call requests and resolve operational incidents. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data center processes. - You will document operational procedures and maintain accurate logs. - You will travel locally as needed to support multiple data center locations. What You Bring: - You have at least 2 years of experience in data center operations or technical support. - You possess strong knowledge of hardware, networking, and server technologies. - You have experience with monitoring tools and incident management systems. - You demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - You are able to work independently with limited supervision. - You have flexible availability to work 2-3 days per week and respond to on-call duties. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. - Certifications like CompTIA Server+, Network+, or similar. - Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and services. - Prior experience working in a regulated or compliance-driven environment.
