Role Overview: As a Part Time Technical Data Center Operations Support team member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational integrity of our data center facilities. Under limited supervision, you will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, support technical troubleshooting, and assist with system monitoring to uphold service excellence. What You'll Do: - You will monitor data center systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime. - You will perform routine maintenance and operational tasks to support data center functionality. - You will respond promptly to technical issues and escalate incidents as necessary. - You will assist with hardware and software installations, upgrades, and configurations. - You will maintain accurate documentation of operations, incidents, and maintenance activities. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project implementations and improvements. - You will participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support as needed. - You will travel locally to support other data center locations when required. What You Bring: - You have at least 2 years of experience in data center operations or a related technical support role. - You possess strong troubleshooting skills with a solid understanding of hardware, networking, and system monitoring tools. - You have experience working with data center infrastructure management (DCIM) systems. - You demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with limited supervision. - You are comfortable with flexible scheduling, including on-call duties. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud platforms and virtualization technologies. - Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, or similar. - Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices. - Previous experience supporting multiple data center locations.
