Launch Manager Mission Deliver the Mount Clemens Waterborne Process improvement project valued at $10M in Capex on time, to budget and with zero production start-up or customer quality issues. The Impact You'll Make As Launch Manager, you’ll be the driver of success. You’ll bridge the gap between Technology, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Indirect Purchasing, Supplier and Senior Management making sure every team is aligned and every detail is accounted for. Your work will directly influence our performance to 2027 Budget, the resulting improved operational efficiencies as well as how our customers experience this transformation in our manufacturing process from day one. What You'll Do • Lead cross-functional launch planning for the project—owning timelines, deliverables, and risk management. • Develop and maintain detailed launch roadmaps, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on milestones and dependencies. • Coordinate with all functions to ensure readiness across all channels. • Monitor launch KPIs (e.g., capex budget, project timing, production batch count & volume targets, Inventory targets) and adjust strategies in real time. • Ensure all process documentation and systems are delivered at launch as part of the project – process failure mode & effect analysis, control plans, AOP’s, Training Matrices, Preventative Maintenance Plans and spare parts. • Facilitate post-launch reviews to capture lessons learned and continuously improve processes. • Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure smooth execution of launch-related activities. Requirements • Proven experience in operations—preferably in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
