Position Overview The Business Development Representative is responsible for driving new business opportunities through outbound prospecting. This role focuses on initiating contact with potential clients, qualifying leads, and setting appointments for the sales team. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, results-driven, and excels at building quick rapport while maintaining consistent activity levels to achieve growth targets Key Responsibilities • Prospecting and lead generation: Conduct high-volume outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach to identify and engage potential clients. • Lead qualification: Research new prospects, identify key players, assess leads based on their needs and fit for our products or services. • Appointment setting: Schedule qualified leads for discovery meetings or demos with wealth advisors. • Communication and relationship building: Clearly communicate the company's value proposition, build initial relationships, and nurture leads through the early stages of the sales funnel. • Sales support: Provide feedback to the marketing team on lead quality and support the sales team with hand-offs and follow-up. • Pipeline management: Track outreach activities and manage a pipeline of potential opportunities. Qualifications • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Strong active listening skills. • Ability to handle objections proactively. • Resilience and a problem-solving attitude. • Time management and organizational skills. • A client-focused and helpful approach. • Familiarity with sales methodologies and Salesforce CRM software is preferred.
