Starting rate is $17/hr! • *We are currently hiring for live-in positions in the Northwest Suburbs!*** Avid Health at Home prides ourselves on taking care of our caregivers. Responsibilities • Help clients take prescribed medication • Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.) • Assist clients with personal care and hygiene • Help clients with physical therapy exercises • Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able) • Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop • Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own • Be a pleasant and supportive companion • Report any unusual incidents • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Skills • Proven experience as a caregiver • Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints • Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards • Respectful and compassionate • Good time management skills • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills • Strong ethics • Physical endurance • High school diploma or equivalent Benefits • Competitive experience-based pay • DAILY PAY (TapCheck Daily Pay Option Available) • One week full vacation (PTO) • Performance-based increases and bonuses • 401k WITH a 4% company match program • Paid time and a half holiday premiums $$$ • Mileage Reimbursement • Paid in-house and continuous training • Mentoring and on-going support by experienced caregivers and leaders • Growth opportunities • Consistent scheduling to work with everyone’s schedules and location preferences • $100 sign-on bonus Job Types: Live-In Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Health Insurance • Dental Insurance • Vision Insurance • Paid time off • Professional development assistance Schedule: • Live-In Supplemental pay types: • Bonus pay COVID-19 considerations: Still actively keeping our caregivers and clients safe.
