WHAT YOU’LL DO The Supplier Onboarding Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding process for suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance, reduce organizational risk, and support efficient procurement and payment practices. This role works cross-functionally with internal stakeholders across the organization and serves as a primary point of contact for suppliers during onboarding. The Specialist maintains accurate records, monitors regulatory compliance, resolves discrepancies, and provides guidance to internal teams and external partners Day-To-Day Responsibilities: Create, maintain, and continually improve the supplier onboarding and enablement process to ensure efficient, compliant, and low-risk procurement and payment practices. Manage supplier setup and maintenance requests, including subcontractor portal projects, and monitoring accounting system to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies. Oversee subcontractor compliance with requirements such as Certificates of Insurance, OSHA, and E-Verify. Maintain accurate and current regulatory documentation, risk management reporting, and supplier records, including the cleanup of inactive or incomplete profiles. Provide guidance and troubleshoot complex inquiries from internal business groups, suppliers, and subcontractors regarding processes and compliance requirements. Analyze risks, document procedures, and support training initiatives to strengthen individual and team performance. Review and validate supplier documentation for quality assurance, collaborating with requestors to resolve issues. Support vendor relationships and assist with contract-related activities, including Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, and amendments. Partner with leadership to implement and train teams on subcontractor portal services across the enterprise. Maintain and administer the risk management system, including vendor outreach, data validation, and timely resolution of inquiries. Communicate updates on compliance, risks, and delays to internal stakeholders and external partners in a clear and timely manner. Contribute to cross-functional initiatives with Risk, Safety, and other internal teams as needed. Perform additional tasks, responsibilities, and projects as needed to support the team and organization, ensuring flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities and objectives.
