Job Details Job Location: Roseville, CA Salary Range: $140000.00 - $190000.00 Salary/year Description The Engagement Manager (EM) is responsible for the overall success of client engagements within Averro’s Professional Services organization. This role owns the delivery execution, client sentiment, and financial performance of assigned projects or portfolios—ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with measurable client satisfaction. The EM serves as the primary point of contact for clients during delivery, leading cross-functional teams across solution architecture, engineering, project management, and customer success to ensure alignment, quality, and value realization. Key Responsibilities Client & Engagement Management · Serve as the primary liaison between Averro and client stakeholders for assigned engagements. · Establish and maintain trusted relationships with executive sponsors and key decision-makers. · Oversee all phases of project delivery—from kickoff through acceptance and transition to support. · Monitor and proactively manage client satisfaction, addressing issues early and ensuring positive sentiment throughout the engagement. · Drive adoption of deliverables and ensure clients realize measurable business outcomes. Delivery Excellence · Ensure all deliverables meet quality, timeliness, and scope expectations as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW). · Partner with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and Technical Leads to ensure alignment on scope, milestones, and dependencies. · Lead governance cadence (status reports, steering committees, retrospectives) and maintain visibility into all project activities. · Facilitate change management, ensuring any scope or schedule changes are properly documented and approved. Financial Performance · Own financial health of assigned engagements, including forecast accuracy, budget adherence, and margin optimization. · Track hours, expenses, and resource utilization to ensure profitability targets are met. · Review and approve client invoices, ensuring accurate and timely billing. · Identify opportunities for follow-on work, contract renewals, or expansion of services. Team Leadership · Lead cross-functional delivery teams, ensuring accountability and collaboration across roles. · Coach project managers and technical leads on client communication and delivery standards. · Partner with the Resource Management team to align staffing plans with project requirements. · Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery frameworks, tools, and methodologies. Performance Metrics · Client satisfaction · Engagement profitability and margin performance · On-time, on-budget delivery rate · Change order and renewal revenue generation · Internal delivery team feedback and alignment Qualifications Qualifications Required: · 7+ years in consulting, technology delivery, or professional services leadership roles. · Proven experience managing multiple concurrent client · Strong understanding of project financials (P&L, utilization, burn rate, and margin management). · Demonstrated success in client-facing roles, driving measurable satisfaction and repeat business. · Familiarity with cloud (Azure, M365), data, or AI-related professional services environments. · Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred: · Experience working within Microsoft partner ecosystem or similar SaaS/Cloud ecosystem. · PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification. · Experience in Managed Services, Cybersecurity, or AI/Data Transformation engagements. ---
