Product Manager - Finance & Accounting - Remote We re looking for a Junior Product Manager to support our Finance and Accounting Products initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their product career to make a real impact by helping shape the internal tools and reporting solutions that drive our The RealReal s financial processes. In this role, you ll work closely with your Group Product Manager and cross-functional teams to break down strategic goals into clear product epics and user stories for our scrum team. The ideal candidate has 12 years of product management experience, thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and is excited to learn more about core accounting functions such as general ledger management, 1099 generation, revenue recognition, and financial reporting. What You ll Do - Under the leadership of the Group Product Manager, the product manager will organize and drive the quarterly roadmap for financial planning and accounting tools. - Translate business goals into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. - Own and prioritize the product backlog and deliver user stories. - Partner closely with Engineering, Accounting, Finance, and Customer Relations to build, launch, and iterate on internal products. - Monitor performance against quarterly OKRs and product launch plans. Skills/Experience: - Experience with Agile methodologies, tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence), and ceremonies. - Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive product decisions. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Self-driven and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities. Required Skills/ Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of product management experience. - Bachelor s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience. Desired Skills/ Preferred Qualifications - Hands-on experience with e-commerce accounting & billing systems such as NetSuite. - Knowledge of accounting best practices and tools Note: • We'd like to see additional profiles with direct Product Management experience in the payments or financial services domain, specifically within an ecommerce-based environment (e.g., payments, billing, pricing, settlements, revenue flows). • The ideal candidate must be able to flex between product-focused work and engineering execution, effectively driving accountability, timelines, and cross-functional progress.
