Full Description

Job Description: • Oversee and shape Avantor’s intellectual property strategies and commercial partnering initiatives • Develop and execute tactical and operational plans • Lead cross-functional initiatives across R&D, commercial, and legal teams • Act as a primary advisor to the General Counsel • Manage Avantor’s intellectual property portfolio worldwide • Monitor industry trends and manage adversarial proceedings Requirements: • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school • 10+ years of significant experience counseling and advising senior management on Intellectual Property issues • Proven track record in structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements • High integrity and ethical behavior • Excellent listening skills and sensitivity to different cultures Benefits: • Medical, dental, and vision coverage • Wellness programs • Health savings and flexible spending accounts • 401(k) plan with company match • Employee stock purchase program • 11 paid holidays • 18 PTO days annually • Volunteer time off • 6 weeks of 100% paid parental leave
