They lead a team of internal and external stakeholders, enforce project methodologies, manage risk, control budgets, and ensure alignment with organizational goals to drive efficiency across multiple, concurrent complex initiatives. Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities • Direct the planning, execution, and closing of complex initiatives, ensuring project goals align with organizational strategy. • Plan and manage the integration of new entities, including operational restructuring, facility assessments, and technology consolidation. • Manage large-scale, ground-up construction, renovations, and facility expansion projects, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors. • Maintains a comprehensive understanding of building code and CMS requirements for healthcare facilities and works with permitting agencies to expedite the process • Direct IT infrastructure, system implementations, and technological upgrades. • Establish project management standards, methodologies, and tools for the organization. • Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for complex, high-stakes projects. • Provide regular status reports on budget, timeline, and deliverables to executive leadership. • Manage and lead all communication, documents, projects, and budgets with internal and external stakeholders. • Project delivery on time and within budget. • Effective risk mitigation and management. Identifies potential barriers and roadblocks and develops risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans. • Holds individuals/teams accountable to timelines and plans; manages and adjusts pacing as necessary. • Stakeholder satisfaction and alignment with business objectives. • Invites and manages stakeholder feedback, incorporating it as appropriate • Collaborate with legal, IT, compliance, and operational teams. Ensures full compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations as well as professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal standards for the division or location of responsibility within the Avamere Family of Companies. Minimum Qualifications • 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, specifically managing large-scale, complex projects. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Health, Construction Management, IT, or engineering; Master’s degree/MBA is preferred. • PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) preferred. • Deep understanding of M&A integration processes, construction management, and IT project lifecycles. • Strong financial acumen (budgeting/forecasting), strategic planning, risk management, and vendor management. • Effectively communicates project status to all stakeholders. • Demonstrates ability to listen, communicate effectively and clearly, and collaborate with many people. • Demonstrates ability to lead projects and motivate others to complete them according to budgets, schedules and standards. • Demonstrates ability to problem solve and find solutions and resolve issues in a timely manner either collaboratively or on own. • Demonstrates ability to juggle several projects at a time, often with conflicting schedules. • Demonstrates ability to be flexible when issues will arise that threaten project goals. • Manages and coordinates cross-company and cross-functional teams. • Validates which actions the organization considers exemplary, by demonstrating leadership principles in action. • Maintains positive relationships and rapport with coworkers, facility personnel, internal and external clients, modeling respectful behavior by exhibiting professionalism with coworkers.
