Manager $45,000-50,000/yr Job description: We’re looking for a leader with at least 3 years management experience in high-volume restaurants who has the mentality of 100% ownership! Our Managers must be able to motivate all staff, maintain a fun atmosphere and work the line when needed to ensure a 100% shift. Our Mangers will ensure each of our guests is warmly welcomed and served fresh, crisp salads in a crunchy baguette 100% of the time! Essential Duties Daily Operations • Manage shifts which includes decision making, scheduling, and planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness. • Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents. • Provide daily direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues. Hospitality • Ensure positive guest experience in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests. • Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service. Leadership • Effectively teach, motivate, and coach all staff members. • Maintain a fun atmosphere free of intimidation, discrimination, harassment, poor attitude, and poor work performance. • Work the line along with staff to ensure a “100%” shift. Employee Management • Hire, supervise, counsel, and train employees. Ensure that all such events are properly documented. • Maintain organized and updated training schedules, programs and materials for new employees. • Create daily shift schedules for hourly employees on a weekly basis in accordance with company policy. Financial • Manages the store’s P&L and assumes all financial responsibilities for the work location including, but not limited to: • Sales • Food Cost Control, Labor Control and Controllable Expenses • Ordering, Invoices, Cash Handing and Back office Administration. Standards • Maintains and operates a safe and clean establishment by following all procedures and standards set forth by Bread Zeppelin and the local Health Department. • Provides top quality customer service and follows through on any promises made to customers. Minimum Qualifications & Skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with executive management, employees and customers • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office –Word, Excel and Outlook) • Must have Serv-Safe certification • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices • High school diploma or GED required • Associate degree preferred Physical Requirements • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs • Must be able to work up to 50 hours per week on their feet. • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone Questions: • Is making your people happy something you enjoy? • Do you have reliable transportation? • Have you ever worked in a Full Service restaurant?
