Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Analyst is a key member of the finance department with primary responsibility for supporting our Operations Organization. This is a key role that will be focused on forecasting, budgeting, variances, analysis, and financial modeling. This Financial Analyst will present key findings to all levels of management around trends and patterns. They will also be tasked to do ad-hoc reporting on a monthly basis. The position requires strong financial modeling and analysis experience as well as a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills. Sponsorship, in any form, is not available for this position. Location: Remote, US Why you want to work on this team: Work for a dynamic company that supports work/life balance Be part of a team that is collaborative, supportive, and has fun along the way Work for a manager that is committed to consistent coaching and developing and has a strong passion for mentoring employees To be qualified for this position you have: Minimum of 0-2 years progressive finance business experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Experience in the budgeting and forecasting processes Demonstrated experience with expenses; revenue is a plus Proficiency in Excel; V-Lookups, modeling, graphing, tables, calculations, automation, etc. Strong attention for detail in a fast-paced environment Skilled with PowerPoint and are comfortable presenting to executive level leadership Thrive working in a collaborative environment that is every changing Use a value-add approach to bringing solutions; analytical You will set yourself apart with: Experience with Workday Experience handling revenue Experience with Power BI You will be: Reporting monthly on actuals versus budget/projected, variance, etc. Discussing the story behind the numbers and trends and presenting back to key internal stakeholders within the organization Analyzing and running ad hoc reports, headcount, modeling, gross margin, etc. Managing and forecasting a 50MM budget monthly Serving as key advisor in product pricing models and coordinating recurring business review sessions with leadership Supporting the Senior Finance Manager with other duties, projects or activities as needed Availity culture and benefits: Availity is a certified “Great Place to Work”, a “Best Workplaces for Technology Companies”, a “Best Workplaces for Women” and a “Best Workplaces for Millennials”!
