As an Application Engineer specializing in Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), you will play a critical role in driving the successful implementation, adoption, and technical support of VFD products within the Industrial Automation market—including Machine, Factory, and Process Automation. You’ll leverage deep expertise in motor control (PM/IM) to collaborate with sales, product management, R&D, and customers, delivering high-impact solutions and building strong technical relationships. Your mission is to ensure customer success, expand product usage, and act as the technical authority for the VFD portfolio. This role requires a unique combination of technical skills, commercial acumen, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field (B.S.E.E. preferred). • 1–3 years of relevant experience in VFDs or motor control applications. • Hands-on experience with industrial-grade VFDs, AC induction motors, or PM motors. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (20–50%). Preferred: • Mandarin proficiency is a plus. • Experience with system-level integration or mechatronics solutions. 6646
