The fundamentals of securing earned media coverage and creating owned content are your wheelhouse and the pull of a bright future is your compass.ResponsibilitiesCreate and implement effective public relations strategies that align with the overall marketing and business objectives of the Design and Manufacturing Marketing teamBuild business-level story ideas to pursue media coverage in mainstream publications; maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers to manage media inquiriesDevelop and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials that effectively communicate Autodesk’s brand message and product offeringsDevelop and implement an executive visibility strategy in the D&M industry by identifying, tracking, securing, and executing high value speaking engagements and thought leadership opportunities throughout the yearPlan and execute PR events, including press conferences, product launches, and industry trade shows, to maximize media exposure and engagementMinimum QualificationsAt least 5 years of communications or PR experienceA BA/BS degree along with public relations and/or journalism experience, ideally, but not exclusively, in software or technologyProven ability to build and manage relationships with company stakeholders, executives, journalists and external partnersStrong organizational and project management skillsFlexibility and ability to multitaskExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience collaborating with global stakeholders, including customers, media, internal partnersKnowledge of design & manufacturing or infrastructure related fieldsDemonstrable experience successfully securing media coverage in mainstream business and technology publicationsMinimal travel possible (Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $87,700 and $151,250. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
