The Data Management Assistant supports daily business operations by entering, updating, validating, and tracking data across various company platforms. This role ensures the accuracy of product, customer, sales, and inventory information used by multiple departments. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, loves organizing information, and can work effectively in a team setting. Responsibilities • Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in databases, spreadsheets, and company systems. • Organize and track product data, including SKUs, ingredients, batch numbers, certifications, and inventory levels. • Monitor data quality and perform regular checks to identify errors, duplicates, or missing information. • Assist with generating reports for sales, inventory, production, and customer analytics. • Support cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Production, Sales) with data needs. • Ensure compliance with organic certification requirements through accurate data recording (e.g., ingredients, supplier information, batch tracking). • Help maintain digital records related to suppliers, shipments, inventory, and purchase orders. • Collaborate with IT/Data Manager to improve data workflows, templates, and system processes. • Maintain confidentiality and follow data security best practices. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s in Business, Data Management, or a related field is a plus. • 1–3 years of experience in data entry, administrative support, or operations support. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, formatting, basic formulas). • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work with confidential information responsibly. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Salesforce, etc.). • Knowledge of inventory management systems or product tracking. • Basic understanding of data accuracy standards and process improvement.
