Senior Operations Manager – Highway Contractor $150,000–$200,000 DOE We are seeking a Senior Operations Manager with experience in DOT and highway construction to lead and scale operations. This role is both strategic and hands-on, working directly with executive leadership to drive growth, improve execution, and expand service lines. The position focuses on roadway safety and specialty highway scopes including guardrail, fencing, traffic control, barriers, and related systems, with accountability for execution, safety performance, and operational consistency across multiple crews and projects. What You’ll Do • Lead day-to-day highway construction operations across multiple crews and project • Partner with executive leadership on operational growth, crew expansion, and service line development • Oversee roadway safety and specialty highway scopes, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule performance • Drive operational efficiency, profitability, and execution consistency • Support business development through operational leadership and contribute to post-acquisition operational integration. • Support business development and M&A integration efforts • Build strong relationships with field teams, DOT inspectors, and vendors What We’re Looking For • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction • 7+ years of leadership experience in heavy civil, DOT, or highway construction • Strong understanding of DOT-regulated environments • Experience managing multiple crews and operationally focused scopes • Roadway safety, traffic control, or highway maintenance experience preferred • Hands-on, collaborative leadership style with strong communication skills Why Join Us • Senior leadership compensation: $150k–$200k DOE • High-impact leadership role with direct influence on company growth • Strong leadership team and long-term career runway Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance • $75,000 annual bonus • Car allowance
