Job Title: Warehouse/Forklift Operator Location: Huntersville, NC Pay Rate: $16/hour Reports To: Customer Service, Warehouse & Logistics Manager; Warehouse Manager Job Type: Full-Time, Monday- Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Job Summary: Our client, a well-established company in Huntersville, is seeking reliable and motivated Warehouse Workers to join their team. The Warehouse Worker will perform a variety of tasks to support the smooth operation of warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products while maintaining organization, accuracy, and safety. Key Responsibilities: • Receiving & Inspection: • Unload incoming shipments, verify accuracy, and inspect for damage. • Confirm received goods against packing slips. • Storage & Inventory: • Organize and store materials in designated locations. • Accurately record inventory transactions in the warehouse system. • Participate in regular cycle counts and inventory checks. • Order Picking & Packing: • Pick and pack customer orders according to company standards. • Label, palletize, and prepare products for shipment. • Ensure orders are accurate and damage-free before shipping. • Shipping & Distribution: • Load trucks and prepare shipping documents. • Coordinate logistics staff as needed. • General Warehouse Duties: • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (as certified). • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. • Assist with other tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). • Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred. • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods. • Basic math and reading skills for order processing. • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. • Forklift certification (if required by role).
