Overview We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Front Desk Receptionist who is fluent in both English and Chinese to join our vibrant healthcare team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for patients and visitors while providing outstanding administrative support. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to manage front desk operations efficiently. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will help ensure smooth clinic workflows and exceptional patient experiences. Duties • Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression for everyone entering the clinic • Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing accurate information and directing calls appropriately • Verify patient insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and assist with insurance verification processes • Schedule appointments, coordinate patient intake, and manage medical office calendars to optimize clinic flow • Maintain accurate medical records by updating electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks • Assist with medical billing and coding tasks including CPT, ICD-10/ICD-9/ICD coding, and documentation review to support accurate claims processing • Handle administrative duties such as filing, data entry, document scanning, and managing patient files with meticulous attention to detail • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information during all interactions and documentation review • Support clinic operations by performing office management tasks like supply inventory checks and maintaining a clean reception area Experience • Proven experience as a medical receptionist or front desk administrative support in a healthcare setting, preferably in clinics or dental offices • Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is required to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, Dentrix or Eaglesoft is highly desirable • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding, and medical billing procedures • Experience with insurance verification processes and Medicare/Medicaid documentation requirements • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), data entry accuracy (10-key typing), and familiarity with health information management software • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems and maintain professional phone etiquette • Prior clinic or dental office experience is preferred; familiarity with dental terminology like Dentrix or Eaglesoft is a plus • Demonstrated ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values energetic service delivery, clear communication, and seamless healthcare administration.
