Overview We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to drive growth by selling building automation, HVAC controls, energy management, and electrical power monitoring services. This role focuses on selling engineering and professional services—not hardware—supporting OEMs such as Schneider Electric and Siemens, as well as electrical and mechanical contractors. The ideal candidate understands how building systems work, can speak confidently with engineers and project teams, and excels at developing long-term customer relationships. Key Responsibilities • Sell BMS/BAS, HVAC controls, energy management, and EPMS services • Promote professional services including: • Control system design and engineering • Software programming and system integration • Graphics/HMI development • Documentation, as-builts, SOO, and validation support • Develop and manage a sales pipeline from lead generation through close • Build strong relationships with: • OEMs (Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, etc.) • Electrical and mechanical contractors • Identify opportunities where customers need additional engineering or delivery capacity • Conduct technical discovery calls to understand scope, risks, and project needs • Support proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations • Coordinate with engineering and delivery teams for smooth project handoff • Maintain customer relationships to drive repeat and expanded business Required Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in technical sales or business development • Experience with building automation systems (BAS/BMS) or HVAC controls • Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems • Experience selling engineering, programming, or professional services • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with Schneider Electric, Siemens, Honeywell, or similar platforms • Familiarity with: • Energy management systems • Electrical power monitoring (EPMS) • SCADA / HMI systems • Experience supporting: • Data centers • Life sciences / pharma • Healthcare or mission-critical facilities • Knowledge of design-build or subcontracted project delivery models Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $95,110.01 - $125,498.08 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance • Work from home Work Location: Remote
