Role Overview The Business Development Manager – Operational Technology (OT) Solutions is responsible for driving growth across our portfolio of design, engineering, programming, integration, commissioning, upgrades, and maintenance services for digital infrastructure and mission-critical facilities. This role focuses on selling solutions in Building Automation Systems (BAS), Energy Management, Power Monitoring, HVAC services, IoT/IIoT platforms, and smart building technologies to enterprise customers, data centers, and large-scale commercial environments. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy focused on operational technology and digital infrastructure services. • Build and manage relationships with data center operators, real estate owners, mechanical/electrical contractors, integrators, consultants, and enterprise facility teams. • Understand customer challenges across building automation, energy optimization, power monitoring, controls upgrades, and system modernization, translating them into actionable proposals. • Work closely with engineering teams to scope and estimate projects including BAS design, programming, graphics development, commissioning, retrofits, and lifecycle maintenance. • Identify opportunities for IoT/IIoT deployments, sensor networks, energy analytics, digital twins, and predictive maintenance solutions. • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through proposal development, contract negotiation, and handoff to delivery teams. • Maintain a pipeline, forecasts, CRM accuracy, and sales metrics required for predictable revenue growth. • Participate in industry events, customer workshops, and strategic partnership discussions. Required Skills & Experience • Strong understanding of BAS/BMS, SCADA, EPMS, or related operational technology systems. • Experience selling technical or engineering solutions into data centers, critical facilities, or commercial real estate. • Ability to translate engineering concepts into customer-oriented business value. • Excellent relationship management, communication, and consultative selling skills. • Experience with long sales cycles and managing multiple stakeholders.
