UI/UX Designer (Site Optimization) – Contract Location: New York City (On-site preferred) Compensation: $25/hr About the role Atoms is looking for a UI/UX Designer to help make our online experience more intuitive and effective across every channel. You’ll focus on improving conversion, simplifying navigation, and creating pages that feel as thoughtful as our products. What You'll Do Audit our current website experience and identify conversion opportunities. Design landing pages, product pages, and checkout flows in Figma. Collaborate with the growth and engineering teams to implement and test changes. Create a design system that aligns with our brand and customer journey. Use analytics and feedback to refine your work continuously. Read customer's reviews and conduct customers interviews to find the best solutions. What we're looking for Experience in UI/UX design for DTC or e-commerce brands. Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, flow, and mobile-first design. A curious mind that cares about the “why” behind every click. Comfortable iterating fast and testing ideas in real time. Who should not apply Those who avoid diving into details or solving problems end-to-end. Those who regularly do ask for WFH flexibility — this role needs in-person collaboration. Designers who don’t plan or design several weeks ahead of launch. People who aren’t open to learning, feedback, or change.
