Job Overview – Senior Revenue Accountant (Hybrid) Compensation: $100,000 – $110,000/year + bonus Location: Philadelphia, PA Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid) Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Revenue Accountant (Hybrid) in Philadelphia, PA for our client. This hybrid role supports revenue accounting and month-end close activities, ensuring ASC 606 compliance while managing contract reviews, revenue analysis, and systems support. Ideal for a technically strong revenue accountant with public accounting or public company experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities as the Senior Revenue Accountant: • Revenue Close & Accounting: Own month-end and quarter-end revenue close activities, including allocations, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. • ASC 606 & Technical Accounting: Ensure revenue recognition compliance under ASC 606 through detailed analysis and technical accounting research under US GAAP and IFRS. • Contract Review & Deal Support: Review customer contracts pre-execution, partner cross-functionally on deal structuring, and document revenue conclusions. • Systems, Audit & Controls: Support RevPro administration and reporting while partnering with external auditors on revenue matters and SOX controls. • Process Improvement & Projects: Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and support ad hoc analyses and special projects. Qualifications for the Senior Revenue Accountant: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA strongly preferred). • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting or finance experience required, with public accounting or SOX-regulated environment experience preferred. • Industry Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, with deep expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition standards. • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency is required, with RevPro experience and familiarity with Workday, Salesforce, and SQL or other data analysis tools preferred. • Skills & Attributes: Highly analytical, detail-oriented professional with strong communication and influencing skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
