• Location: New York City, NY, New York • Type: Perm (Contingency) • Job #42397 • Salary: $90,000 Job Overview – Assistant Project Manager, Residential Development Join a leading real estate development company in New York City as an Assistant Project Manager. This role focuses on supporting high-end residential projects from preconstruction to completion. Collaborate with designers and architects to deliver exceptional living spaces while advancing your career in development project management. Compensation: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 + fully paid healthcare for employee and family, double holidays, 401k match, and more Location: New York City, NY Responsibilities as the Assistant Project Manager: • Project Coordination: Assist the Project Manager with all phases of development, including preconstruction, construction, and project closeout. • Documentation: Organize and maintain construction logs, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project-related documents. • Communication: Serve as a liaison between project stakeholders, including architects, consultants, and contractors. • Quality Oversight: Ensure on-site work meets design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. • Budget & Scheduling: Support budgeting, bid preparation, and scheduling to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. • Technical Skills: Utilize construction software and tools for tracking, document review, takeoffs, and data analysis. Qualifications for the Assistant Project Manager: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. • Experience: At least 2 years in a similar role, ideally within residential construction or development. • Skills: Proficiency in project management tools, construction software, and Excel; strong knowledge of building processes and regulations. • Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. • Certifications: OSHA-10 required; OSHA-30 preferred.
