As an Informatics Senior Analyst, you will collect, validate, prepare, and analyze large healthcare datasets to support client-facing projects. You will also engage with clients and contribute insights that help shape client strategies.
Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in healthcare informatics, data management, or analytics roles, with advanced skills in SAS and SQL. A commitment to Athena's mission and values, along with proficiency in MS Office tools, is also required.
Location: Remote (with occasional travel to client sites and Athena hub cities) Type: Full-Time, Salaried What You’ll Do 🔍 As an Informatics Senior Analyst, you will play a key role on client teams, taking ownership of your work and collaborating closely with Analysts, Senior Analysts, and Team Leads. You’ll support important client facing projects by collecting, validating, preparing, and analyzing large healthcare datasets and contributing insights that help shape client strategies. This role also offers opportunities to engage with clients, support new business efforts, and participate in Athena’s broader community. Key Responsibilities: Collecting, cleaning, and validating client data to ensure accuracy and completeness Preparing and transforming datasets for use in client analyses and reporting Designing, developing, and maintaining advanced SQL queries to support business intelligence and analytics efforts. Writing SAS code from scratch or modifying existing code to query and analyze data.
