You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions that address real-world problems, driving significant business impact. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and deploy optimization algorithms and operations research models to solve complex business problems. - You will collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to integrate optimization solutions into production systems. - You will analyze large datasets to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains. - You will write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. - You will participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes. - You will stay current with the latest research and advancements in optimization and operations research techniques. - You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to optimization models and software. - You will contribute to the design and architecture of scalable software systems. What You Bring: - You have 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on optimization and operations research. - You possess strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Java. - You have hands-on experience with optimization libraries and frameworks (e.g., Gurobi, CPLEX, OR-Tools). - You hold a degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. - You demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. - You have experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker). Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with machine learning techniques and their integration with optimization models. - Familiarity with distributed computing and parallel processing. - Background in logistics, supply chain management, or manufacturing optimization. - Contributions to open-source optimization projects or publications in relevant research journals.
