The company offers integrated supply chain services and values innovation, continuous improvement, and leadership development Job Summary: The General Manager will oversee all operations across warehouse, transportation, and logistics functions. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving efficiency, developing talent, managing key accounts, and aligning teams with business growth objectives. The GM is expected to be hands-on, analytical, and capable of strategic planning and execution across multi-site operations. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership • Oversee full warehouse operations and ensure adherence to SOPs, KPIs, and safety standards • Ensure inventory control accuracy and maintain food-safe storage standards • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, HR, Finance, and Engineering • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all workplace safety policies Team Management & Development • Manage warehouse staff including supervisors, team leads, and operations managers • Lead succession planning, performance management, and talent development • Promote open communication and team engagement through regular meetings Business Strategy & Client Relations • Partner with VP of Business Development to grow revenue and client base • Maintain and grow key customer relationships • Provide detailed monthly P&L commentary and ensure accurate billing Continuous Improvement & Cost Control • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives • Drive operational excellence and cost reduction • Track and report on KPIs and performance metrics to leadership RequirementsMust-Have Requirements: • 15+ years of progressive leadership in logistics, warehousing, and transportation management • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field • Master’s degree preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, WMS systems, and ERP systems • Experience managing P&L, staffing, and warehouse KPIs • Familiarity with DOT HAZMAT, OSHA, HAZWOPER compliance • Certifications in LSSGB or LSSYB are a plus
