Vaughn Way Aurora, CO 80014 Non-exempt Hourly Rate: $20 The DDS Screening and Verification Unit provides support to examiners in case development processing. The position also provides customer service to disability claimants in the state of Colorado by providing telephone switchboard support, consultative examination reminder calls, and clerical duties including checking voicemail extensions, returning claimant calls, checking the status of cases and checking data reports. The duties of the position include: • Medical Provider Verification • Query provider database via phone, provider name and location in order to accurately match claimant reported information to DDS database information for generation of medical evidence request letters • Add case messages when there are match discrepancies • Request database additions for new medical sources • Identify and correct issues with claim type, development time frames, and sources • Recognize the need for additional form letters • Add notes/reasons for not writing a source or writing a different source • Accurately verify 22 – 27 cases per day • Multi-line switchboard coverage as needed • Answering customer phone calls, answer questions, look up claimant information, forward calls as appropriate, deescalate upset customers • Medical Appointment Confirmation Calls • Inbound and Outbound customer calls related to the confirmation of consultative examination appointments • Answer incoming customer calls and address issues and add case notes or take action as necessary • Other clerical and customer service related duties as needed ATA Services, Inc., is looking for full-time, enthusiastic Administrative Assistants!
