Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL Server databases, ETL packages, and reports while collaborating with teams and ensuring data integrity and security. | 10+ years of SQL Server and T-SQL experience, expertise in SSIS and SSRS, proficiency with Azure DevOps and Visual Studio, and familiarity with Microsoft Office and Visio. | Job Title: Senior SQL Database Developer Location: REMOTE Job Type: Contract 6 Months Plus Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL Server databases and stored procedures. • Develop and maintain ETL packages using SSIS for data migration and transformation. • Generate reports using SSRS and provide data insights to business teams. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data solutions. • Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) for version control, CI/CD, and task management. • Use Microsoft Visual Studio (2015 2022) for development and integration tasks. • Create and manage system documentation using Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office tools. • Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues. • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry best practices. Required Qualifications: • 10+ years of experience with: • Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL • ETL processes and tools, especially SSIS • Report development using SSRS • Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office Suite • 5+ years of experience with: • Azure DevOps (ADO) for version control and project tracking • Microsoft Visual Studio (2015 2022) Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with cloud-based database systems (e.g., Azure SQL) • Knowledge of Power BI or other business intelligence tools • Strong understanding of database security, backups, and disaster recovery strategies • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Education: • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
