Manage and drive data analytics and metrics projects within security and privacy domains to improve operational efficiency and risk reduction. | Requires 5+ years program management, 3+ years data analytics with dashboarding, SQL proficiency, cloud data warehouse experience, and strong communication skills. | Data Analytics Program Manager We’re looking for a Data Analytics Program Manager to join our Metrics & Measurement program within the Security & Privacy organization. This program serves as an enablement function for other strategic and operational objectives across security, privacy, & risk cohorts. You will provide program and project management for initiatives related to data analytics and data engineering - to help partner teams in security, privacy, and risk to drive risk reduction, operational efficiency, improved compliance, data-driven decision-making, and more. What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties): • Collaborate with program sponsors and cross-functional Security partners to understand requirements and document opportunities, challenges, and risks related to data analytics, metrics, and reporting within the Security & Privacy domain • Help define the long-term strategy for the security metrics program and execute against that strategy • Work closely with program sponsor and cross-functional teams to influence buy-in and adoption of critical initiatives on roadmap • Manage critical projects related to metrics & data analytics including: • Establish and update milestones, risks, and timelines to facilitate cross functional collaboration • Understand current state of various cross-functional workstreams as well as dependencies • Understand cross-functional requirements for deliverables and definition of done • Hold teams accountable for deliverable quality and completeness • Clearly assess and communicate the impact of delays to the overall project timeline • Provide project status to Security and Program leadership, ensuring transparency and collaboration • Work with and co-manage team of data analytics and engineering contractors, ensuring clear and timely completion of deliverables • Provide guidance on high-quality metric definition and data management • Build, own, and maintain processes associated with development and dashboarding of key metrics • Drive engagement on important org-level KPIs and KRIs • Design and iteratively improve procedures that solve problems in simple and scalable ways What we look for in you (ie. job requirements): • 5+ years of experience as a program manager or related discipline. • 3+ years of business or data analytics experience - including dashboard and data visualization experience (Looker, Superset, or other industry preferred solutions). • Minimum bachelor’s degree in business management, Information Systems, Data Science, Data Analytics or similar. • Proficient SQL skills and ability to write or troubleshoot complex queries. • Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake. • Experience executing and delivering cross-functional projects with multiple dependencies and constraints. • Ability to lead your own projects and have autonomy in a remote environment. • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish trust with internal/external partners. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of communicating at all levels involving both technical and non-technical teams/stakeholders. • Ability to simplify complex data into easy-to-understand visualizations and representation. • Self-sufficiency in digging, iterating on, and validating data. Nice to haves: • Master’s or Higher Education Degree. • Experience working in the cybersecurity, privacy, or risk industry. • Understanding of security domains, processes, risks, and controls. • Experience with blockchain and cryptocurrency related technologies. • Experience working with highly regulated financial institutions.
