Lead marketing strategies and cross-functional teams to drive product growth and market adoption. | Over 10 years in product marketing and growth leadership with global brand experience, but no direct e-commerce or industrial machinery experience. | Overview Currently seeking an E-Commerce Director for newly created position with growing company providing specialized machinery and equipment for the industrial market in Canada and the United States. The position is responsible for taking leadership of plans and fulfillment to grow online presence in support of driving increased product sales. The position works in conjunction with the leaders of technology, sales, marketing, and finance departments at a Director level reporting to chief executive of operations. Core responsibilities: -Creating and fulfilling plans to improve product sales through online presence -Product management, internet marketing, measuring online customer satisfaction -Working with team to ensure technology requirements are in place for platforms -Co-ordinating with necessary internal partners to ensure cohesion of projects and deliverables -Managing pricing, order fulfillment, and channel strategy The correct candidate will have the ability to implement a strategic vision and implement plans in a team based management group, leveraging past success in E-commerce and online product management. 175-200k per year range, negotiable depending on relevant experience and fit for the team. RRSP match and extended benefits plan. Permanent position, employee based role. Requirements -Based in Ontario, Canada with passport and ability to travel regionally and to United States as required -Legally entitled to work permanently in Canada -Fluent in verbal and written English -Superior interpersonal skills with ability to work well with multiple stakeholders -Previous team leadership experience -Background in industrial machinery or equipment is preferred -Minimum 5 years experience in E-Commerce -Formal education in related field
