Role Objectives: The Business Development Manager at WEP Clinical is responsible for driving the growth and success of WEP Clinical’s entire service portfolio by developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies, including Access Programs, Clinical Trials, Patient and Site Solutions, 3PL, Data Collection, Pharmacovigilance, and Comparator services. This role is instrumental in driving sales efforts and securing new business opportunities. The primary responsibility of this role is to generate new business and foster collaboration with internal stakeholders that align commercial activities with WEP’s business objectives. Please note: We have multiple openings for this role, with positions posted as both Business Development Manager and Senior Business Development Manager. During the recruitment process, we will determine the level that best aligns with a candidate’s skills and experience, regardless of which posting they applied to. \n The Ideal Candidate: Strategic Quick Thinker Excellent Communicator Adaptable What You'll Do: Grow the commercial pipeline by identifying and engaging potential clients through CRM tools, networking, cold calling, and digital marketing initiatives. Conduct outside sales activities to generate leads and drive new business opportunities. Engage with prospective customers on behalf of WEP Clinical to introduce services and build relationships. Evaluate new business opportunities and provide regular updates to management. Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing insights to support revenue growth and margin improvement. Maintain and report on account status, leads, and results to the BD leadership team. Coordinate with the broader Business Development team to prepare for client meetings, conferences, and industry events. Represent WEP Clinical professionally at conferences, trade shows, and congresses, while identifying new business opportunities. Collaborate with Marketing, Project Management, Regulatory, Data, and PV teams to support campaigns and client solutions. Support proposals, pricing, CRM updates, and BD team initiatives. What You'll Need: Bachelor's Degree (in a Science, Business, Pharmaceutical, or Finance field preferred) 4-7 years business development or sales experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Confidence and ability to reach out to cold opportunities.
