Assist with staff training, provide leadership and coaching, promote positive engagement with residents, and manage daily operational needs in a juvenile detention setting. | Experience in staff leadership, training, operational management, and effective communication, with a focus on youth or detention environments. | The Juvenile Detention Specialist Team Leader will participate in the security, care, and custody of youth residents in the Wayne County Juvenile Detention Facility who have been accused of criminal activity and are currently undergoing the judicial process. Team leaders are responsible for assisting with staff training, providing leadership, and coaching to new hires, promoting positive engagement with residents, and maintaining effective communication, including documentation. Team leaders will assist with staff pod assignments, youth pod management, and daily operational needs for the facility.
