B - Boldly Go E - Embrace Equity H - Humble Confidence I - Inclusive Stewardship V - Value Reputation E - Extraordinary Experience Position Summary: We are seeking a Continuous Improvement (CI) Project Manager to work with existing program teams to improve and refine program processes, communication, data sharing, and workflows. This role will manage projects from both an internal and external (client) perspective, related to the program. The Continuous Improvement (CI) Project Manager will bring proven experience in project management and continuous improvement practices, paired with an entrepreneurial mindset that is dynamic, adaptive, and persistent. They must excel in a matrixed team environment, demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and build effective working relationships. Experience with utilities and energy-efficiency programs is highly preferred. Essential Responsibilities: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. • Embrace and operate within our core values. • Assimilate, review, and utilize program data and feedback to implement continuous improvement efforts. • Development and execution of detailed and effective project plans, quality control, or process improvement guides. • Monitor and control project plan(s) progress and timelines. • Solve problems by leading creative and collaborative discussions with team members. • Help establish, or recommend program milestones, metrics, forecasts, budgets. • Communicate clearly and effectively to ensure project team members are aligned, leadership is informed and able to escalate when needed, and the client remains confident in Walker-Miller's ability to deliver. • Support the successful implementation of the Walker-Miller program by taking proactive and appropriate measures as needed. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required; equivalent work experience may be considered. • Comfortable in a high-visibility, individual contributor role with the ability to work cross-functionally and with all levels of the team. • Ability to manage project timelines and hold project contributors accountable. • Demonstrated ability to deliver results, communicate effectively, and problem solve. • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Desired Qualifications: • Minimum of three years of professional experience analyzing, supporting, or leading successful projects or programs-preferably in energy efficiency-including managing consulting projects for utilities or public-sector energy entities, or working within utility energy-efficiency programs. • Skilled in project management software. Licenses & Certifications • Willingness to obtain Six Sigma Yellow Belt within first six months of employment • CAPM or PMP Certification, preferred • Valid driver's license Travel Requirements • Up to 10% Physical Demands and Work Environment • Required to sit, stand, walk; talk and hear; and ability to touch and handle tools and/or controls. • The team member is frequently required to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. • Noise level is typically low to moderate.
