Assist project teams in coordinating project activities, managing documentation, and monitoring project progress to ensure timely delivery. | Requires experience in project management, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with data and contract management, with preferred experience in data centers. | Overview The Project Support Specialist is a key position to assist in carrying out the organization’s project delivery strategy. Specifically, they are in direct support of the program and project management teams. Key areas of support include project delivery, material management, logistics, and procurement. Overall, this is a mission critical position to ensure the critical path items required to deliver a project are effectively coordinated across multiple projects and teammates. Responsibilities • Provide coordination support for all Program and Project Management activities throughout the customer and project lifecycle.• Facilitate pertinent information flow within the team concerning resources or other project related information.• Assist with generating purchase requests.• Draft and submit Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs).• Assist Project Managers with adhering to Vision’s Operational Guidelines throughout all project phases including Presales, Planning, Delivery, Closing, and Post-Installation.• Monitor all aspects of projects to ensure milestones, timelines, and budget targets are met.• Monitor project risks and notify Project Managers.• Assist with managing change control and change orders.• Monitor and assist with the quality assurance process during all phases of the project.• Maintain data and system integrity.• Assist with aligning all contract documents (SOWs, POs, Contracts, Proposals, etc.)• Assist project Managers and Project Accountants with proper billing.• Performing weekly reviews of KPIs and reports including Project Budget Trackers, Field Budget Trackers, Project Metrics system, Invoicing, and AR. Qualifications • College degree or AA preferred.• Experience with project management methodologies and/or construction.• Data center experience is desirable.• Strong customer service skills.• Google Suite experience preferred (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.)• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with multiple projects and with competing deadlines.• Strong critical thinking skills.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.• Excellent organizational skills.• Where permitted by applicable law, Vision may require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 based on customer requirements, and in accordance with an accommodation based on legally protected reasons.• Up to 20% travel may be required. Manage full project lifecycle ensuring milestones, budgets, and quality standards are met, while maintaining excellent customer experience. | Requires a college degree, PMP certification preferred, and knowledge in structured cabling, A/V, security, or wireless systems, with strong project management skills. | Overview The Project Manager is responsible for full life-cycle management for projects of all sizes, including organization and management of resources and activities for planning, materials purchasing, installation, budget-tracking, and project closeout. In addition, for certain programs/projects, the Project Manager will work as a member of a larger Project Management Team. The Project Manager's focus is on delivering World Class Customer Experience and Quality. They are integral to the account team and is key in building a trusted relationship with the customer. Responsibilities Conform adhere to all responsibilities within the Operational Guidelines throughout the phases of: Presales, Planning, Delivery, Closing, and Post-Installation. all aspects of project plans to ensure milestones, timelines, and budget targets are met. Monitor Risks and initiate necessary Proactive and Corrective Actions Manage Change Control and Procure change orders Manage Vision team and/or subcontractors/vendors to ensure timely and high-quality work. Monitor and drive the quality assurance process during all phases of the project. Continuously expand / farm existing Accounts for additional opportunities to introduce other Vision services. Look for new opportunities with new clients that enable Vision to provide cabling, A/V, security, Wireless/DAS, and/or network infrastructure services. Aligning all contract documents (PO, Contract, Proposal, PnL) Proper billing schedule Understands the critical importance of both customer experience and customer service. Proactive and professional communication with internal and external customers. Effective working in team situations as a contributing or leading member. Qualifications College degree or AA preferred. PMP Certified or equivalent preferred. Excellent fluency with project management methodologies. Excellent PC skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Knowledgeable in one of the following areas: structured cabling, Audio-Visual, Access Control, CCTV, Wi-Fi, or DAS.
