RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop, implement, and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs for extrusion lines, shredders, grinders, conveyors, chillers, guillotines, balers, and all other related plant equipment. • Lead and supervise maintenance technicians, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations. • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues with extrusion machinery and auxiliary equipment. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies during all maintenance activities. • Plan and oversee scheduled downtime, major repairs, and equipment installation. • Maintain spare parts inventory in conjunction with Parts Coordinator. • Collaborate with Operations to minimize unplanned downtime and improve equipment reliability. • Track and analyze maintenance KPIs and implement continuous improvement strategies. • Lead root cause analysis for major equipment failures and implement corrective actions. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, or related field (preferred); equivalent technical experience. • 5+ years of maintenance management experience in plastics recycling, extrusion, or plastics manufacturing environment. • Strong hands-on knowledge of extrusion machinery, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC based control systems. • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team. • Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and decision-making abilities. • Strong organizational and planning skills. • Knowledge of OSHA and other applicable safety regulations. #VRS The Maintenance Manager will oversee all maintenance operations of the facility.
