Lead Vimeo's risk and fraud strategy execution, oversee fraud monitoring and chargeback management, develop risk management systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on compliance and security. | 5+ years in payment or risk compliance operations focused on fraud prevention, knowledge of global payment processing and regulatory compliance, strong communication skills, and problem-solving ability. | Vimeo is looking for a Risk Operations Lead / Analyst to join our Payments team. In this role, you will help build operations, product experiences, & establish analytics to protect our platform through investigations and data-driven insights. You'll audit & review existing product experiences, while contributing to analyzing abnormal signals to help prevent platform abuse across our Self-Serve & OTT business lines. What you'll do: • Strategy & Planning: Own Vimeo's Risk & Fraud strategy and execution across Trust & Safety, Security, Payment fraud prevention, and support escalations – ensuring our approach aligns with company objectives & evolving regulatory environments. • Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of fraud monitoring, risk operations, and chargeback management while owning the associated KPIs/metrics. • Risk & Compliance Management: Develop and implement risk management systems to monitor suspicious patterns, mitigate fraud across different vectors, and ensure compliance with industry standards and all relevant payment regulations. • Collaboration & Innovation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Trust & safety, product, engineering, finance, and legal, to advise on emerging risks, global compliance (e.g Network, PCI, OFAC, etc) & security best practices. Skills you will need : • 5+ years of experience in payment or risk compliance operations, with a focus on fraud prevention and management • Background knowledge of the global payment landscape, including payment processing, fraud prevention techniques, and/or existing regulatory compliance monitoring programs. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both with external customers and internal employees or partners • Experience in problem-solving to spot trends and react quickly while establishing new processes or implementations Nice-to-haves: • Knowledge of SQL or Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Looker/Tableau) • Knowledge of fraud vendors & a high-level understanding of their offerings • Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical partners Base Salary Range: • NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, & Los Angeles: $123,000 - $169,500 • All other US cities outside above metro areas: $110,700 - $152,550 Base salary is just one component of Vimeo's total rewards philosophy. As a Principal Product Designer, you will lead the Enterprise solutions design and work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, team stakeholders, and other designers. Beautiful work is important, but the thinking behind it is even more so. • Excellent user-centered design skills - you love the details and have a deep understanding of design fundamentals with a proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools. • Excellent communication skills - you can clearly articulate your design vision through verbal and written explanation, sketching, or quick mock-ups to small or large groups, from designers to the leadership team. • Ability to be autonomous - you take initiative and end-to-end ownership of complex projects while collaborating with cross-functional partners and other designers, by seeking and giving feedback with a positive sense of curiosity and encouragement! • Strong familiarity with industry-standard UX practices and methods.
