Lead and perform technical delivery of IBM i AS400 projects, including requirement analysis, design, and issue resolution. | Extensive experience in IBM i AS400 technologies such as COBOL, CL, RPG, and DB2, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. | Job Title: IBM i AS400 Technical Lead Duration: 6 Months Contract (Possibility for extension) Location : Evansville, Indiana (Open for Remote as well) Experience: Minimum 9 years up to 13 years in IBM i AS400 technical delivery Job Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Technical Lead with strong expertise hands-on experience in IBM i AS400 technologies The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in COBOL DB2 RPG and CL programming along with excellent client interaction skills and a strong focus on quality delivery and governance Key Responsibilities: iSeries Development Expertise in technologies such as ILE COBOL ILE CL database DB2 Knowledge of iSeries APIs Data queues User queues multithreading Journaling and IBM iSeries file systems such as Library based system etc Experience with SQL and MQ Series is a plus Functional Requirements and perform requirement analysis Estimate and Monitor Estimates Work with Business teams to prioritize work Prepare detailed design documentation Reporting and tracking of assignments Fix high priority issues Required Skills Experience: 1 Excellent communication stakeholder management and problem-solving skills 2 Strong knowledge of IBM i AS400 COBOL CL RPG and DB2 3 COBOL400 COBOL ILE 4 SQL400 Query400 Strong working knowledge in DB2400 5 ILE Concepts 6 Display Files Sub Files Printer Files 7 Embedded SQL Preferred Qualifications 1 Experience in financial services lending domain 2 Knowledge of Agile Scrum and traditional SDLC methodologies 3 Exposure to modernization tools or microservices even at concept level Skills: Mandatory Skills : AS400 Cobol Regards, Atul Singh
