Your Responsibilities: Join our Marketing team based in Fort Mill SC, where you will be an integral part of a dedicated team responsible for planning, developing, and executing marketing communications activities aimed at our products and brand in North America. As the Marketing Communications Manager for North America, you will lead a team of highly skilled marketing professionals. Your primary objectives will include guiding regional markets to optimize marketing efforts, fostering regional synergies in content creation, product launches, marketing materials, and sponsorships. Leadership is a key aspect of this role, as you will be responsible for unlocking the full potential of your team and driving them towards world-class performance. You will report directly to the Sr. Director of Marketing Communications for North America as a vital member of the Regional Marketing Management Team. Your role will involve leading the development and execution of fully integrated international marketing campaigns targeting various trade and end-user audiences. You will be part of a dynamic, growth-focused team within our newly established North American region. This region is a part of a broader reorganization effort aimed at enhancing VELUX's marketing presence across the globe, with a primary focus on brand and strategic alignment. One of our core objectives in the marketing team is to transition from a functional, engineering-focused approach to one that highlights the inspirational benefits of designing buildings with natural light and exceptional indoor climates. We aim to bring this vision to existing and future homeowners by elevating our value proposition to a wider audience. Your role will be pivotal in placing marketing at the heart of this transformation. Your Primary Tasks: Your key responsibilities will include: Developing world-class integrated marketing campaigns across the North American region, with a focus on optimized media planning and clear calls to action. Designing region-specific growth initiatives that align with the global marketing objectives while considering the unique context, needs, and opportunities within the North American countries. Collaborating closely with the CXU team to enhance mutual benefits and integrate skillsets to achieve common goals effectively. Professional development of the marketing communications team, playing a pivotal role within the larger department. Leveraging data and insights, combined with creativity, to create highly targeted content and messaging. Vigorously defending, nurturing, and projecting the VELUX brand through all materials, content, and assets in the North American region. Setting high standards and establishing best practices while fostering a culture and mindset conducive to unleashing the full potential of the new team. You can anticipate approximately 30 days of travel annually, both within the United States and internationally. Your Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should have: Deep market knowledge and extensive leadership experience. A creative mindset and excellent project management skills, with a focus on critical and value-adding tasks. An open and collaborative approach, with outstanding communication skills. Experience working in an international environment with the ability to think globally while acting locally. Prior experience with global or regionalized companies. A strong background across the entire marketing mix, ideally in both consumer and B2B environments, with a commitment to accountability and achieving goals. In addition, we expect that you: Hold a relevant educational background, most likely a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field. Possess solid leadership experience, preferably with high-branded and durable consumer goods. Have a successful track record of adopting new techniques and media. Are passionate about strengthening brand positions, with a proven track record of enhancing classic brand strength metrics such as awareness, desire, loyalty, and affinity over time. Are a dynamic and hands-on leader with a strategic mindset, including strategic planning, strategic branding, and communications planning. Support and develop a training academy for building contractors, including managing a team, creating courses, and facilitating workshops. | Bachelor's degree, 3+ years managing a team, experience in sales/training/business development, excellent presentation skills, knowledge of adult learning principles, and willingness to travel. | The primary purpose of this position is to support a small team engaged in establishing and developing relationships with professional building contractors (Pro Partners). As Manager of the VELUX Training Academy, this position will assist VELUX in becoming an effective business resource to these contractors by implementing various training curricula designed to increase sales for both their business and VELUX. This role will assist with future tools and engagement models proving that recruiting and upskilling of building contractors supports our vision with Pro Partners. This position, located in the Campbell, CA area is a member of the Installer Engagement Team and reports directly to the Director of Installer Engagement. Primary Functions: Oversee the full academy team, including mobile trainers and training coordinator. Provide sales & business development training / events with regular cadence at the Academy. Ensure the functioning and efficiency of the daily workflow, scheduling and initiatives related to activities of the Training Academy including utilization of 3rd party resources to support the academy’s delivery of training in business development and marketing focused on building the businesses of our Pro Partners. Effectively communicate with management matters regarding team performance and resource allocation. Align team with the training curriculum strategy and escalate potential issues and implementation of changes as needed. Engage with team to generate impactful courses at the Academy, building upon curriculum in place. Contribute and support development of additional courses in building a robust curriculum. Assist with development of sales enablement materials and academy focused marketing elements. Capture all trainee information at training events within given CRM. Monthly Starting Salary Range: $9,027 - $11,284 Compensation will be based on the skills and experience of the candidate. Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree is required. Minimum of three years’ experience overseeing a team Minimum of three years' experience in sales, training, or business development role. Natural ability for presenting and facilitating workshops with ease and the ability to communicate complex topics in a simple manner. A well-equipped toolbox in training including knowledge in adult learning principles. Knowledge of the building industry is preferred. Proficiency with key technology tools, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Hubspot, LearnUpon or other LMS system is a plus. Effective communication and presentation skills are necessary. Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish is preferred/not required Must possess good organizational and planning skills. Demonstrated ability to follow detailed and specified procedures. Able to demonstrate elevated level of customer focus. Must demonstrate ability to take initiative. Enjoy working with others in a collaborative approach. Willingness to travel, primarily domestic but occasional international travel, around 20-30 days per year. Ability to perform the essential functions assigned to the position.
