The Director of Customer Relations will build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at power providers while identifying opportunities and addressing challenges. This role also involves delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating with the sales team to pursue new business opportunities. | Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in the power industry. Strong understanding of industry dynamics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to travel are essential. | Director of Customer Relations (Power) Overview: As the Director of Customer Relations, you will be responsible for fostering and maintaining strong relationships with our existing and potential power provider clients in the west. You will play a crucial role in identifying opportunities, addressing challenges, and driving customer satisfaction. PLEASE NOTE: **Position requires a high degree of travel. Responsibilities: Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at power providers. Proactively identify customer needs and anticipate potential challenges. Deliver exceptional customer service and exceed customer expectations. Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and effectively. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region. Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the customer base and increase revenue. Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads and close deals. Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Represent the company at industry events and conferences. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in the power industry. Strong understanding of the power industry, including technology, regulations, and market dynamics. Proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel within the assigned region. The Transmission and Distribution Designer will design, develop, and support the operation of power transmission and distribution systems. This includes overseeing T&D projects, conducting system studies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. | Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and experience in transmission and/or distribution engineering. Proficiency with relevant design tools and strong knowledge of utility standards is also required. | Transmission and Distribution (T&D) Designer About the Role We are seeking a Transmission and Distribution Designer to design, develop, and support the operation of power transmission and distribution systems. This role will focus on ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of electricity through substations, overhead and underground lines, and related infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Design, plan, and oversee T&D projects including substations, transmission lines, and distribution systems. Conduct system studies (load flow, short circuit, protection coordination) to ensure reliability and compliance. Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. Collaborate with utility partners, contractors, and internal teams on project execution. Ensure compliance with NESC, IEEE, and applicable regulatory standards. Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of T&D systems. Provide technical expertise for upgrades, expansions, and system resilience initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering Experience in transmission and/or distribution engineering. Proficiency with PLS-CADD, CYME, ETAP, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of utility standards, codes, and industry best practices. Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills. Physical Requirements Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds of equipment or materials. Willingness to work in both office and field environments, including substations, construction sites, and outdoor conditions. Ability to stand, walk, or climb for extended periods when visiting project sites. Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces as required by project needs. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel to project locations.
