Develops and oversees vocational services, supervises staff, and manages client records and program expenses. | Requires a Bachelor's in Psychology or related field, 2+ years in Human Services, and supervisory experience. | Primary Purpose The Vocational Services Program Director is responsible for developing, evaluating, coordinating all vocational services provided by the Community Re-Entry Program for San Joaquin County Mental Health consumers through enclave work crews working within the community. Position has identified one-year funding. Continuation of this position is based on availability of funds. Essential Functions Responsible for implementation of all existing services in accordance with goals and objectives of the vocational services programs of the Community Re-Entry Program. Designs and develops vocational program for new work sites. Provides direct supervision to three Job Coaches and one Vocational Behavior Specialist. Responsible for the oversight, direction and implementation of enclave services provided by thirty to fifty (30 – 50) paid and volunteer individuals. Responsible for reporting and communicating with funding source agencies on administrative and clinical concerns. Responsible for the development, evaluation and approval of intervention plans recommended by the Job Coaches. Responsible for the tracking, monitoring and maintenance of client clinical records and program expenses. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Education or related fields. Two (2) years’ work experience in Human Services. Preferred Qualifications One (1) year experience in a supervisory role. Experience completing behavioral assessments and interventions. Strong professional, ethical and leadership skills. Strong oral and written communication skills when supervising and providing feedback to staff and clients. Strong skills in clearly articulating performance roles, project goals and timelines. Demonstrated ability in effective time management, managing deadlines and tasks for themselves and direct reports. Demonstrated ability to form positive relationships with clients. Positive attitude, proven ability to work successfully with diverse populations and demonstrated commitment to promote and enhance diversity and inclusion. Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work. Work Schedule Work Environment/Work Week/Travel: Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment or in work sites. Work performed during standard business hours; overtime may be necessary based on business needs.

Essential Functions • Support preclinical courses in the Department of Clinical Oral Healthcare through active participation in laboratory exercises; provide instructional material (lectures) to students on laboratory procedures and management. • Produce and maintain training aids; coordinate the fabrication of stone cast for the preclinical courses. • Provide logistic support in preclinical classes. • Establish and maintain quality assurance of all clinical cases entering and leaving the professional services laboratory; coordinate laboratory quality control according to established departmental policies and procedures. • Maintain material safety data sheet/binder; update the Environmental Health & Safety Specialist as needed. • Aid students in troubleshooting clinical cases. • Maintain accurate quality control records and provide an annual report. • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Associate Dean, Clinical Affairs, Assistant Director and the Director of the PHCC. Ability to: • Construct and explain prosthesis, specifically fixed, removable, and implant prosthesis. • Monitor student's clinical design and quality control of clinical cases for adherence to departmental criteria. • Communicate effectively with faculty, staff, and vendors. • Bachelor's Degree in a related field. • Certified Dental Technician (CDT) • Supplemental courses in teaching and fixed prosthodontics and related fields desireable. • Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. • Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting. • Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
