Lead enterprise architecture framework development, manage business analysts, drive process improvements, and oversee strategic initiatives aligned with business and technology goals. | Bachelor's degree, 5+ years leadership, 2+ years business analysis, TOGAF experience, process improvement knowledge, strong communication and project management skills. | We currently offer remote work for those residing in the following states: Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin. General Summary (What is done and why) The manager of Continuous Improvement and Enterprise Architecture is responsible to lead the development of our Enterprise Architecture framework and champion significant process optimization initiatives across the organization. This position oversees the activities of Business Analysts related to business, functional and technical requirements gathering; designing, analyzing, and implementing process improvements; and developing and maintaining the Enterprise Architecture ensuring alignment with overall business strategy and technology vision. The Manager applies proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, business knowledge, and best practices to guide the development, automation, and enhancement of processes and applications. This individual is responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement (Kaizen) and will lead enterprise architectural oversight for major IT initiatives and business projects. Essential Functions, in Priority Order (Majority of duties, but not meant to be all inclusive or prevent other duties from being assigned as necessary) 1. Support organizational wide strategic initiatives through consultation with leaders to drive process improvements by defining business, functional and technical requirements for new and existing enhancements through automation and accelerate business processes while providing quality assurance. Time: 20% 2. Collaborate with both technical and business units to establish and maintain architecture frameworks, principles, governance processes, and the enterprise architecture repository. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for architecture and process improvement initiatives, reporting on progress and outcomes. Time: 20% 3. Support organizational wide strategic initiatives through consultation with leaders to drive continuous improvements by defining business, functional and technical requirements for new and existing enhancements through automation and accelerate business processes while providing quality assurance. Time: 20% 4. Lead and manage a team of Business Analysts ensuring optimal team and individual performance towards organizational goals. Time: 20% 5. Understand organizational priorities, products, strategies and plans to appropriately communicate opportunities, key performance indicators, challenges, and course-corrections to meet the business needs. Communicate complex architecture concepts and process improvement initiatives clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences. Time: 10% 6. Collaborate with Project Management Office to establish, implement, and control best practices for business and quality analysis throughout the organization. This includes defining, documenting processes, and translating requirements to support development and improve project execution. Time: 10% Education & certification (Minimum education required to perform the duties of this position) • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field or two years of related work experience required. • At least one industry leading certification such as PMP, CompTIA Project+, TOGAF Fundamentals or Practitioner, etc. Experience (Minimum experience required to perform the duties of this position) • Minimum of 5 years’ effective leadership experience required. • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Business Analysis required. • Must have experience working in the field of Enterprise Architecture with a focus on TOGAF. • Experience contributing to or leading mid to large-scale programs or projects required. • Experience in the Financial Industry, especially Credit Unions strongly preferred. Tools and Equipment Used • All available general office equipment as needed. • All available computer software and hardware and peripherals. Working Relationships/Contacts (Positions with which incumbent has frequent contact) • Daily, personal/written/phone contact with IT management, IT staff, credit union management and staff. • As necessary, personal/written/phone contact with strategic partners and vendors. • As necessary, personal/written/phone contact with examiners and auditors. Physical Demands (Physical effort generally associated with this position) Work involves standing and walking for brief periods of time, but most work is done from a seated position. There is potential for eyestrain from reading detailed printouts and computer screens. Work normally requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordinate to operate computer keyboard at a high skilled level. Deadlines, workloads, and pressure may cause increased stress levels. Work hours are unpredictable at times. Working Conditions (Typical working conditions associated with this type of work and environmental hazards, if any, that may be encountered in performing the duties of this position) Internal - Work is normally performed in climate-controlled office environment, where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of normal office equipment (computers, telephones, etc.). No known environmental hazards are encountered in normal performance of duties. Length of day is unpredictable; long hours may be required to accommodate deadlines, attend special meetings, or manage incidents.
