Job Summary: The Field Trials Operations Lead role will be responsible for the successful implementation, oversight, and execution of field trials within the Commercial Ag Science (CAS) Team. Working closely with Agronomy Solutions Managers to support the CAS field trialing strategy, the role will work with third party researcher service providers to ensure the administrative actions are managed for successful trial outcome. A cross-functional, collaborative mindsight along with digital project and data management proficiency will be crucial for the role. Key Responsibilities: Protocol Implementation and Trial Set-Up With directions from Agronomy Solutions Managers, ensure developed protocols are executed according to strategic trial planning including geography, product, and crop targets. Work within budget planning to ensure trial costs stay within allocated budget ranges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely product delivery to trial sites. Manage trial workflow in shared digital platform and provide regular status updates to Commercial Ag Science Team. In-Season Trial Execution Oversight Ensure all invoices are processed in a timely manner. Manage trial status within digital platform and provide updates and transparency to Commercial Ag Science Team. Conduct regular communication with Third Party Researcher services providers to ensure proper data collection and in-season data return and feedback. Make in-person trial site visits to compliment Agronomy Solution Managers travel where necessary. End of Season Trial Execution As trials conclude, regularly communicate with Third Party Researchers to ensure timely finalized data return. As data is made available, conduct QA/QC and consolidation. Be in constant contact with Agronomy Solutions Managers to evaluate initial data and deliver to them in timely manner. Manage common data warehousing and hand-off workflows. Ensure all final invoices are processed. Qualifications: Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, or related field (MS preferred). 5+ years of experience in agronomic trialing, research, and data collection and management. Proven ability to engage with third party research organizations to successfully manage end-to-end trial implementation. Understanding of North American cropping systems, agronomic trialing best practices, quality control for data collection, and digital data management practices. Exceptional communication, collaboration, project management, and digital tool skill sets. Willingness to travel up to 25% to trial locations across North America. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: This is a remote position that requires strong self-direction and the ability to prioritize work independently. The role includes up to 25% travel, with higher travel expected during the first two years as the business ramps up. Some work will take place outdoors at trial sites. In this key role, you will drive growth, oversee the performance of our seed treatment sales, and cultivate long-term relationships with strategic partners across agricultural seed manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. As the National Account Manager - Seed Technology, you will be responsible for all facets of the Seed Technology Platform driving the overall go to market commercial strategy which includes but not limited to managing product lines, pricing/programs, place (upstream/downstream) and promotions. You will be charged with creating, managing and maintaining relationships with key strategic accounts within the agricultural seed industry, specifically in the area of seed treatment technology. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, promoting our seed treatment products and services to new customers, and providing exceptional customer service. Basic Qualifications: • 15+ years of sales and/or management experience in the agricultural industry, primarily focusing on seed and/or seed treatment products and services. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with excellent forecasting and pipeline management skills. • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts. • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time within assigned territory. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business administration, marketing, or related. A master’s in business administration (MBA). • Strong knowledge of seed treatment products, applications, and regulations. Licensing & Special Requirements: • Subject to a criminal background check.
