Assist with accounting tasks including handling payments, account management, and preparing deposits. | Requires an associate's degree in accounting or related field, experience with QuickBooks, and strong communication and mathematical skills. | Are you a numbers-driven organizer who loves keeping finances, files, and inventory running like clockwork? If so, you might be a great fit for our client who is seeking an accounting clerk for their family-owned business. • Schedule : Part-time (25-30 hours / week) • Pay : $20.00+ / Hour (DOE) • This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities : • Handle customer payments • Resolve payment discrepancies • Account management, including filing and copying • Prepare deposits in QuickBooks • Process Accounts Payables • Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed Qualifications : • Associate's degree in accounting or related field plus two years' experience • Proven working knowledge of QuickBooks Pro, and Microsoft Word & Excel • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Strong mathematical skills, ability to compute rate, ratio and percent • Ability to work independently and to make appropriate decisions • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to multi-task and pivot duties as needed If you're looking for a flexible role where your accuracy and efficiency make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you!
