Essential Job Functions: • Partner with Marketing & Proposals leadership, senior executives, and subject matter experts to lead or support proposal strategy and development for RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, SOQs, and presentations. • Analyze solicitation requirements and develop proposal directives, compliance matrices, management plans, schedules, and production workflows. • Apply AI-driven tools to proposal strategy, content development, competitive analysis, and design optimization. • Lead proposal planning, scheduling, team coordination, and review processes to ensure high-quality, compliant, and competitive submissions. • Create customized executive summaries, win themes, resumes, infographics, and project descriptions using traditional and AI-enhanced methods. • Translate technical content into clear, persuasive, client-focused narratives. • Produce compelling proposal responses that clearly communicate Tetra Tech's value proposition. • Guide development of visually engaging proposals, presentations, and client-facing materials. • Review draft and final documents for quality, accuracy, consistency, and compliance. • Support preparation and coaching for shortlist interviews. • Contribute to continuous improvement of capture planning, proposal processes, and pursuit tracking. • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards. • Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness. • Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns. • Additional duties as required. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Business, Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 10+ years of professional experience in proposal management and development. • Extensive experience leading complex proposals, with significant focus in power, transmission, and/or energy markets. • Strong understanding of power and energy technologies, including renewable energy (solar, wind), electrical transmission and distribution, energy storage, and related regulatory frameworks (e.g., PSC/PUC, FERC, NERC, EFSC, BOEM). • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environments. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate with geographically dispersed teams. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro) preferred. • APMP and/or SMPS certification preferred. • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions. Physical Requirements: • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods. • Occasional lifting of materials up to 25 pounds. • Ability to participate in extended working sessions, including proposal war rooms and on-site meetings as required. Position Summary The Process Engineer plays a key technical role in the planning, evaluation, and design of water and wastewater treatment facilities. This position supports process modeling, treatment optimization, equipment selection, pilot testing, and development of detailed design documents. Working alongside multidisciplinary engineers and project managers, the Process Engineer ensures high-quality, cost-effective solutions that meet regulatory requirements, operational needs, and client expectations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical fundamentals, curiosity, and the desire to grow into a future technical leader within our Water practice. Essential Job Functions • Supports the process design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including coagulation/filtration, biological treatment, disinfection, residuals handling, advanced treatment, and emerging contaminant removal (e.g., PFAS, GAC, IX). • Prepares and reviews calculations, technical memoranda, process flow diagrams, hydraulic profiles, design criteria, equipment sizing, and design reports. • Contributes to the development of construction drawings and specifications in collaboration with civil, mechanical, electrical, and I&C discipline teams. • Performs process modeling and evaluation using industry-standard tools and data-driven methods. • Participates in pilot studies, field investigations, facility assessments, and startup/testing support. • Coordinates with project managers, discipline leads, and clients to ensure technical alignment and timely delivery of project milestones. • Provides quality review of deliverables to maintain Tetra Tech's standards for technical excellence. • Supports proposal preparation, technical approach development, and level-of-effort estimates for new work pursuits. • Mentors early-career staff by sharing knowledge, reviewing work, and fostering technical growth. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline. • Registered Professional Engineer (PE). • 3+ years of experience in water or wastewater process design, facility planning, or treatment system evaluation. • Experience developing design calculations, process schematics, equipment sizing, and technical reports. • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to drinking water and/or wastewater treatment. • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage priorities across multiple projects. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
