Lead HR strategy and operations across multiple sites including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance, compliance, and multi-site leadership. | Requires 8+ years progressive HR experience with 3+ years senior leadership, strong multi-state employment law knowledge, HRIS proficiency, and ability to travel 50%. | Job Description About the role As Senior HR Manager for North America Shared Services, you are the strategic HR business partner and people leader for our corporate office and multiple distribution centers. Partnering closely with operations and corporate leadership, you set HR strategy and deliver hands-on support across employee relations, talent acquisition, performance, compensation, and multi-state compliance for a geographically distributed, largely hourly workforce. This is a high-impact role for a leader who can operate both strategically and tactically, standardize HR practices across sites, and influence at every level. What You’ll Do • Employee & labor relations — Serve as the senior HR advisor and escalation point for site leaders and employees; lead complex investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective actions, partnering with legal as needed; foster a positive, inclusive culture across all sites. • Talent acquisition & workforce planning — Own recruitment strategy and workforce planning for distribution locations, including high-volume and hourly hiring; partner with operations to forecast needs and build proactive pipelines. • Performance & talent development — Lead performance management, talent reviews, leadership development, and succession planning; coach managers and emerging leaders across the network. • Compensation & benefits — Partner with Total Rewards to administer programs and run market and pay-equity analysis that keeps pay competitive and compliant across locations. • Policy & multi-state compliance — Develop and maintain HR policies; ensure compliance with FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and OSHA across multiple states; lead audits and mitigate risk with legal. • Onboarding & retention — Standardize onboarding and orientation across sites and use turnover and engagement data to continuously improve the employee experience. • Multi-site & shared-services leadership — Provide HR leadership across distribution locations from the Daphne, AL corporate office (~50% travel); standardize and scale consistent HR processes through the shared-services model. What You’ll Bring Must-haves • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in an HR leadership or senior business partner role. • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. • Strong knowledge of multi-state employment law (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA). • Proven experience leading complex employee relations matters. • Proficiency with HRIS and applicant tracking systems, with strong people-analytics capability. • Ability to travel ~50% across the corporate office and distribution locations in North America. Nice-to-haves • Master’s degree and/or SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification. • Experience supporting distribution, logistics, or manufacturing multi-site / hourly workforces. • Experience standardizing HR in a shared services or multi-location model. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Responsibilities • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent strategy encompassing succession planning, performance management, leadership development, employee engagement, and career mobility, ensuring alignment with TERREPOWER’s growth objectives. • Build and deliver leadership programs that identify, develop, and advance high-potential employees to strengthen the company’s future leadership pipeline. • Oversee and guide the Talent Acquisition team, driving innovative sourcing strategies, employer branding, and streamlined hiring processes to attract top talent across corporate and manufacturing functions. • Design and manage performance management systems, employee engagement initiatives, and recognition programs to foster a high-performance, inclusive culture. • Partners with senior leaders to anticipate workforce needs, align recruiting and development strategies, and ensure talent pipelines meet future business demands. • Lead organizational change initiatives by embedding new talent processes, systems, and programs across TERREPOWER’s operations. • Leverage HRIS, analytics, and talent dashboards to track KPIs such as retention, internal mobility, quality-of-hire, and leadership readiness, providing actionable insights to executives. • Collaborate with HR Managers, Operations, Finance, and leadership to ensure talent strategies are integrated into overall business planning. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field; master’s degree preferred. • 8–10+ years of progressive experience in Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, or Organizational Development, including leadership-level responsibility. • Proven success implementing talent strategies (performance management, leadership programs, succession planning, and recruiting initiatives). • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional HR teams, including Talent Acquisition. • Demonstrated ability to partner with executives and influence at all levels of the organization. • Skilled in talent analytics, workforce planning, and leveraging HR metrics to drive decisions. • Proficiency with HRIS and ERP systems, specifically Oracle HCM, along with advanced Excel and reporting tools. • Experience designing or optimizing processes across the full talent lifecycle (recruitment through retention). • Preferred certifications: SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent.
